Cannot make Logitech H760 headset work with This headset is not compatible with smartphones because it uses a USB wireless adapter to communicate from a computer to the headset. Self control app for mac reviews. Absolute junk! Don't get this. Expensive piece of worthless crap. Physically they are fine. They fit great, and comfortable. However the mic is very loose and falls to the lowest position, so positioning the mic is complicated. For ease of use, I absolutely love the mic. When you rotate the mic so it is about straight up, it automatically mutes. I use that function all the time. The buttons on the right ear (volume, play/pause, back/forward) are nice when you are away from your computer, however I found that sitting at the computer it is much simpler to just use your computer. Also the volume changes in increments much to small and you have to hold it down longer than should be necessary to change the volume to a desired level. When you first plug the dongle in and turn the headset on it works without a hitch. However I found the headset does not always like to connect to Blue Tooth, and when it does it has many problems. I tried switching back to the dongle after being fed up with blue tooth, only to find that it would not connect. After several hours of finding nothing online but others in similar situations, I simply played with it, eventually getting it to reconnect. Since the beginning I have had serious issues with voice clarity. Very often, sometimes upwards of 5 times an hour, my voice will turn robotic for around 30 seconds. There seems to be no trigger, and there is no fix. On a side note, troubleshooting is nearly impossible. All the forums are just other people complaining about the same problem with little to no actual fixes. There is almost no interaction from the factory, and the booklet you receive is just a few pictures and a guideline of what the lights mean. The wireless itself is not too bad. I can move about my room with ease, and it picks up through thin walls, but if you go around a corner with more than just a wall between you and the dongle, it cuts out completely. You are mostly confined to Line of Site only. As for compatibility, it has issues with everything. My main use is Skype. Sometimes it'll work for hours, sometimes it'll cut out, sometimes it won't even register. Sometimes my computer won't recognize it and will continue to play through the speakers and not the headset. It is not my computer either, as I have read this on forums all over. Overall I would not buy these again. I got these because they are the only behind the head design, with a mic, wireless, that is not an ear-bud. I would sooner get one that goes above my head than I would get these.:Design - 4/5.
